Massimiliano Gioni studied history of art at the University Bologna. Since 2002 he is artistic director of the Nicola Trussardi Foundation, Milan and director of special exhibitions at the New Museum for Contemporary Art, New York. He organised special projects and solo shows with artists such as Pawel Althamer, Darren Almond, John Bock, Maurizio Cattelan, Martin Creed, Elmgreen&Dragset, Urs Fischer, Paola Pivi and Anri Sala. Gioni curated the 4th Berlin Biennale (2006) as well as the Manifesta 5 (San Sebastian, 2004) and the Zone for the 50th Biennale in Venice (2003).

Jessica Morgan is curator for contemporary art at the Tate Modern, London where she has organized exhibitions such as Common Wealth (2003) Time Zones (2004) and The World as a Stage (2007) as well as Martin Kippenberger (2006). She curated the 2005/6 program for Tate Modern's Level 2 Gallery for which she developed a series of solo exhibitions of international emerging artists including Meschac Gaba, Jan De Cock, Roman Ondàk, Catherine Sullivan, Simryn Gill, and Brian Jungen. Morgan was previously Chief Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and at the Fogg Art Museum, Harvard University.

Beatrix Ruf studied in Vienna, New York and Zurich. Since September 2001 she is the director of the Kunsthalle Zürich. Before that she was director of the Kunsthaus Glarus for three years. During her career Ruf curated several projects such as the Yokohama Triennale (2008), Lyon Biennial (2007), the Tate Triennale, London (2006) in addition to the Ringier collection that she curates since 1995. She worked with artists like Jenny Holzer, Marina Abramovic, Liam Gillick, Urs Fischer, Angela Bulloch, Richard Prince, Elmgreen&Dragset, Monica Bonvicini, Isa Genzken, John Armleder, Christopher Williams and Kai Althoff amongst others. Since 1999 Beatrix Ruf is member of the board of the Schweizerischen Graphischen Gesellschaft (SGG).

Janneke de Vries studied history of art and German literature in Marburg and Hamburg. She was editor, critic, curator in Frankfurt/Main and Hamburg as well as director of the Kunstverein Braunschweig until 2007. Amongst exhibitions with Mark Wallinger and presentations with Claire Barclay, Tobias Buche and Till Krause she organised the group exhibition "Um-Kehrung" and a curator residence programme. Since 2008 de Vries is the director of the Gesellschaft für Aktuelle Kunst in Bremen.

Dr. Bernhart Schwenk studied history of art, history as well as classical archioligy at the universities of Mainz, Collogne and Bonn. Since 2002 he is conservator for contemporary art at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. From 1993 until 2001 Schwenk was exhibition curator at the Haus der Kunst. From 2003 until 2007 he was honorary member of the purchase commission of the Sammlung zeitgenössischer Kunst der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Collection of Germany for contemporary art).
