Sam Keller (director of the Beyeler Foundation, Basel), Udo Kittelmann (director of the Nationalgalerie, Berlin), Gabriele Knapstein (curator at the Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin) and Christine Macel (head curator of the Musée National d'Art Moderne, Paris) have been appointed second jury of the Nationalgalerie Prize for Young Art 2009

Candidates for the Nationalgalerie Prize for Young Art 2009 nominated:
The four shortlist nominees were announced during a grand party at BMW Kurfürstendamm on October 29, 2008. Keren Cytter, Omer Fast, Annette Kelm and Danh Vo are the artists who will compete for the Preis der Nationalgalerie für junge Kunst at a joint exhibition being held at the Hamburger Bahnhof next year. All four candidates have accepted the nomination.
